We'd planned Gir safari all girls trip with our respective kid and decided to stay at Aaranya after reading all the wonderful reviews here. And the place does prove it worth. We did spot the king of the jungle but even if we'd missed it we would have been completely satisfied visiting this place.
Surrounded by farms till the horizon, shaded by beautiful mango trees, tastefully designed villas and above all the seven star hospitality that Dhanji bhai and his family provide. We had a few tantrums and untimely demands for meals and other stuff owing to the kids but never once we got disappointed. In fact, at a point we felt bad and said we will be fine with the cold food but they just couldn't let us and instantly made hot rotis and stuff for us. Nothing can match those lovely souls and the efforts they put in.

Totally recommended whether you have kids or not. I am an avid traveler and this by far is the best experience I have ever had.

It's one of the best resort near sasan gir. It's well maintained in nearly forest area. Many times lions visit nearby road as a person work there told us. The interior of the building is fantastic. Also private tents are available.

We were apprehensive about booking this place as there aren't too many rewiews online for it. But we were pleasently surprised to see the level of hospitality and the peace and quiet Aranya offered. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, the cook made awesome, homely and hygienic meals every day and even our 5 fussy city kids were happy.The kitchen is clean and the freshest produce and milk from their own cows are served. The cottages and their bathrooms are large, spread out around a mango orchard. Can't wait to go there in mango season!!!
I would recommend this place whole heartedly.
